I hope your child gave you the yellow permission slip for our blog. If not, here is a copy of it. Please fill out as soon as possible so I know your preferences!
Congrats to my homeroom for collecting 1790 Box Tops for the 1st semester! We were rewarded with a pizza and popsicle party. Mrs. Bouillion set it up for us and it was delicious. I'll post pictures once I have the permission slips in.
Today's Learning Objectives:
-Today, we caught up on checking old homeworks. We're continuing to work on finding the answers within the text. Make sure you are reenforcing at home!
-We also learned the difference between Fact and Opinion. I'll post the picture of our anchor chart later tonight or tomorrow.
-The morning class got to do their verb agreement activity but the afternoon class ran out of time. We'll get to it tomorrow!
We also copied down our homework. This week we will have the regular reading homework, home reader read/signed 2 times "Puppies," language arts homework (given tomorrow) and a spelling activity.
Tomorrow's Reminders:
We are going to pass out Valentine's tomorrow at 3:15. The children are allowed to bring valentines and/or individually wrapped candy but we cannot eat them at school. We will make bags tomorrow during class.
